“The final proposals for the Citywide Plan RFP were submitted on Monday, July 20th. Out of the 300+ firms and individuals who downloaded the RFP from the BRA website, in the end there was a total of 9 proposals, including submissions from multiple big name firms from Boston, New York, and Miami. The process now shifts to reading through all of the submitted proposals, as firm interviews will begin during the first week in August.  The ultimate goal is to choose a firm and submit for BRA Board approval by August 13th.

I was responsible for marking proposals as received when they arrived at the BRA, and helped to distribute the proposals to readers. Over the course of the week it was my responsibility to make sure that readers had all necessary materials for review in preparation for the interviews.

My supervisor welcomed me to read the proposals. I will be part of the interview process, which will take place during the last week of my internship.
